So, yesterday wasn't as good as Ma had hoped.

the new medication did NOTHING to calm me.

In fact,

I was back to the Tasmanian-Airedale!

The vettie (NOT my FABulous Dr. K.....)

said that all we can do at this point is up my dose of Ace.

Ma isn't happy with this because it's very unpredictable.

Sometimes 1/2 dose works, sometimes it takes twice the dose.

And it's sedating.

She is going to have to do it for my  next appt (it's all we have left)

butts, she is hoping Dr. K has something else up his sleeve.

Good news, is that I didn't assault the vettie tech!

I assaulted Ma. hehehe

Oh, it's nothin'!  She shook it off....just a little bruise on her chin when she was

Holding my harness so the vettie tech could get  my ear meds in my ears!

sorry Ma....

I thought I would share some pawsome pics of some

BEAUTIFUL blooms...

bonus HINNIE shot!

your welcome.....

  1. Ruby, I hope the vet and the meds problems get worked out fur you. Nobuddy wants to be sedated. Beautifurflowers. Those are some of Mimi's favorites and they don't grow furry well in our climate.
    Your Furend,
    Louis Dog Armstrong

  2. Aw Ruby.
    We love you big!
Sending you so much love over here!

  3. Love the 'THE END' photo...BOL! Sounds like there was a HUGE kerfuffle at the veties. Bet the technicians draw straws when they hear you're coming in. Is that why your fave Vet was absent? Hmmmmmmmm.

  4. Our mom had a hard time scrolling past the first hibiscus. It's stunning! Beautiful flowers, Ruby! We are keeping out paws crossed for you♥
    Love the hiney shot☺

  5. We sure hope you get the meds straightened out! We just LOVE the blooms!! And the hiney shot!

  6. My poor Ruby. I'm sorry things are so yucky right now. In other news, your hiney shot made me giggle. *Ear licks*

  7. My poor Ruby. I'm sorry things are so yucky right now. In other news, your hiney shot made me giggle. *Ear licks*

  8. oh that's a buttiful photo :o) I'm so sorry that the meds cpuldn't do the trick... and I hope with you and I cross my paws that your Dr. K has a super idea what will help you...

  9. Get well soon, Ruby! BTW, love those flowers!

  10. Pretty flowers and great parting shot!
    Feel better soon, Ruby. POTP

  11. Gosh I hope everything settles down for you soon with all your meds,xx Speedy

  12. Those flowers are beautiful - but we feel so bad for you! We hope your yucky ear clears up soon!
Great "ending" to the post. Ha roo roo roo!
    Yours sincerely,
    Margaret Thatcher

  13. I expect your stud muffin will faint when he sees the tush shot.

MOLMOL Ruby your mom shook it off, when you whacked her chin!!,,that is the true test of a good mom. I hope you fixed her a margarita when you got home.
I'm kinda strange...stop laughing...I don't mind having eye stuff done. I've had several bouts with conjunctivitis. Which required 2 different drops 3 times a day. Luckily only one eye seems to get it at at time. Mom approaches from behind....when I'm sleeping, bottle ready and one hand hold my snout and slam bam thank you ma'am we're done. BUT GIRLFRIEND IF SHE MESSES WITH MY EARS SHE IS LIABLE TO DRAW BACK A NUB!!

  14. I thought you were my friend but you mooned me.

  15. Mom used to have some of those pretty white shamrock flowers - oxalia maybe, and she had some pink ones too. All your blooms are so nice.

Bummer on the calming agent. Mom doesn't like ACE either. Hope your favorite vet has another idea.

    Woos - Ciara and Lightning

  16. Those are some beautimous blooms...and a cute little hinnie too!!

We sure hope those next meds work for you!!
    Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo

  17. We love the flower and the hinnie shot. We hope you can find something that will work to calm you down at the vet and not make you too dopey.

  18. Oh my Ruby! Hope they get something figured out for you!
    Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel

  19. OK,, you need some magic bubbles to help you get better!

  20. OMD - I hope that you feel better soon. As for calming meds, Ace does nothing for R (post-surgery) but a drug called trazedone was like magic. It is said to be "sedating" but we just saw that it took the edge off his excitability.

Thinking of you! And I ADORE those beautiful flowers!!!!!

  21. Poor Ruby, I'm so sorry you're still having those nasty ear problems. I hope that you get that under control and that you don't have to be sedated.

My boys went to the groomer yesterday for a pawdicure. They had to put a muzzle on Shiver because he tried to bite them.

  22. OMD! We are so sorry to hear your ears are still a problem. Aim for the vet tech next time cuz you depend on Mom to feed you and all. BOL! BOL! The flowers are beautiful. ♥

  23. The blooms are beautiful, and that hinnie is pretty cute too. Sorry you're still having ear probs and that you've been a little wild. Maybe the vet needs to create a spa setting. The scent of lavender and the sound of waves might help you relax. If nothing else, it would help your mom. That and a margarita.

  24. OMD, i'm on ear meds right now too and i don't like it one bit! i turn into an evil gremlin when that tube comes near me. you should have seen the commotion i caused tonight. BOL
    love your booty shot! ;)
