Shake, Rattle, and Roll!

Yups ~ that's our State Motto here in Californ-I-A !!

Wells,  actually, it's

"Eureka....I have found it!"

yeah, whatevers, I thinks mine is betters.

Anyhu,

Yesterday, as some of you heard, we had a DOOZY  of an earthquake around here!

Okays, it was abouts 85 miles north of us,

butts we felt it!!

Okays, we slept through it

Butts we COULD have felt it if we were consciousness !! ☺

This is the distance between us (Santa Clara County)

and

Napa County

When there's an earthquake anywhere in the

Bay Area

The whole Bay Area usually feels it.

Wells, except for the sleeping dead.

Anyhu,

We thinks everyone is gonna be okays, some peeps lost their homes in some fires and from the damage,
(Please pray for them, and keep them in your thoughts)

Butts, we are a hearty, wine soaked bunch, and we will rebuild better than ever!
okays, maybe I'M margarita 'soaked' butts you get my drift!

And for all of you worried abouts the

PRECIOUS WINE SUPPLY......

No worries!!

There will be plenty to go around...

just ask Ma....

to see some of the photos

So, I'll just pretend these are Wine Bubbles .....

Anyone see the cheese????

  5. Rubes you had me scared girl. I am glad you are OK. That would have had my Mommy packing for sure. Now I read what you told me about getting your furs taken on Wednesday. Grab as much food and water and tequila as you can and hide under the bed. When you come out in a few days she will be so glad to see you that she will forget about the haircut. Go and Godspeed to you.

  10. We are glad you are okay around your house. These earthquakes are scary. (They say we are LONG overdue for one.) Since you felt the shaking have you checked on your Cherry Bomb that you were hiding from your mom? Is it OK?

  23. Thank goodness you're okay Ruby. And thank goodness about the wine too! We have a friend in California that certainly did feel the earthquake. She didn't sleep through it or anything. Luckily, her house did not suffer any damage. I hope those people that did get through this okay.

  24. OMD Ruby, we are very relieved to hear that you guys are ok! South Africa is a pretty boring country when it comes to natural disasters butt we had an TWO "earthquakes" recently! The first measured 5.3 and the second 4.6 - that is pretty impressive for us, we felt the first one butt we (also) slept through the second *BOL*
Anyhowl, we will keep those affected in our thoughts and prayers.
