Wordy Wednesday

Do you see what is in there?

It's an AVOCADO!

Some TREE RAT, keeps putting them in Ma's FAKE plant!

This is the SECOND TIME this tree rat has put an avocado in this plant!

Right by the front door!

Ma has also found them under her car, in front of her car, in front of the gate.

Nows, Ma appreciates the gesture, (she looooves avocados!)

Butts, I thinks this is getting kinda STALKY!

And the frickin' tree rat only leaves them IN THE FRONT of the house

where I can't gets him!

the nerve.

(I hear you laughin' at my Poodle feets......)

  2. Ruby, I'm thinking you need to paint those nails pink to complete the look.
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.
PS Gail thinks that is a very long thin avocado and wonders if that is the usual shape in your part of the world. The ones we import to Scotland are much rounder in general.

  3. Is there another animal on the face of this earth that's more annoying than a squirrel?!
We agree with Bertie. Nail polish would look fabbers on your nails, Ruby!

  4. actually your feet are looking quite precious now... looks like you are wearing designers black nail polish.. you are lucky the squirrel doesn't leave the fruit where you can eat it. our dogs all love avocado and when dogs eat more than a tiny morsel, as the tend to do, it makes for the upset tummy..tell your mama that when i used to go home to Savannah, i came back with my old accent and now when I talk to relatives on the phone for an hour, i sound just like them.

  8. Your Mom is lucky. The tree rats here just leave the empty shells from walnuts. Mom would prefer an avocado but the silly raccoons would probably eat it before she got to it. Have a safe and Happy New Year. Keep your mask on.

  11. I know you don't like tree rats and you shouldn't and they can be very stalky, but your mom love avocados so that's a good thing. You are so precious. I love everything about you.

  14. That is kind of funny. May he is playing some kind of hide and seek or is trying to hold them hostage for nuts or something. Happy new year!

  15. That is the funniest thing we have ever heard of from a squirrel - he really IS squirrel-y!!! We like your feeties, Ruby. And no worries, the fur will grow back. Misty had those two big bare spot on her back, and now you can't even tell. Hope Ma is feeling better. Mom made it to TJ's today, had to wait in line for 25 minutes to get in the door, BUT she came home with THREE boxes of that biscuit mix AND TWO boxes of pb bones. She says she is going to make us applesauce and pb biscuits tomorrow.

    Happy New Year!!!

  17. Maybe those avocados are too big for the tree rat to bury like small nuts,. so he 'buries' them in other places!

Funny thing though! You can see the teeth marks, they must be heavy for him:)

    Its now 2021!! Hooray!
    Happy New Year!

  18. That tree rat might be an annoying stalker, but he's SMART to stay out front. Unfortunate for you, tho. Have a happy 2021.

  20. Looks like a zucchini. My crop of avocados was fantastic this year. I was told that I would never get fruit from a avocado pit . i planted it for a shade tree It bloomed and feed many families on the block. I found another tree in the back yard. I didn't plant that one and it to provided many avocados this past summer.
