POTP Needed....

Hey puppers and kittehs, I had to go to the vetties today.
You see, Ma been  tryin' to gets me to drop some pounds
(Pffffffft!)
So we've been takin' ALOT longer walkies.

Well, Tuesday hours after our walkies I was havin' problems gettin' up. Nothin' serious, just a little slow.
Wells, it didn't gets better, and todays it was worse.
So...off to the vetties!!

This is my "What did you do to me Ma??!"  look.....

Anyhu, we gets there and there is a new PAWSOME  new receptionist!
I loved hers! And she thoughts I was really 'beautifuls'!!
(she even thought my hyperbutt was funny!!!)

And, there was a new vettie, too!!  He was also PAWSOME!!
He didn't even mind when I barked through to door at other doggies!! hehehe

Butts, it looks like there is nothin' serious at this point. He did all the movement thingies (which I wasn't happy abouts I tell ya!!)
and everythings looked okay!
So, he gave me some pain meds and sent my hyperbutts on my way!
He also said I only needed to lose FIVE POUNDS!!
Ma was goin' on abouts 10lbs, and I thoughts she was crazy, butts the vettie said five is good!!
I loves this vettie!!

Here I am at homes after I hads my post-vettie pee......hehehe

Then I had to check on my bees....

Back to sniff for tree rats......

Back to check on my bees.....

After this I crashed in the house.
Don't let these pics fool you....I was still hopped up on adrenaline!!

So, I could use some POTP  to get these druggies workin'!

Also, Oskar is havin' some problems with his caboose too!
Stop by and give him some POTP  too!

Okays, it's rest and diet foods for me this weekend!
All you doggies, run and jump and do some roachin' for me, okays?!

  1. Hopefully you just pulled some of your powerful muscles with all that walking. Now if you get worse or not better, back you go. Don't know if ticks are bad where you live, but around here, they can make a doggie get fierce owies really fast. Feel better.

    Kisses,
    Dexter

  6. Rudy,
I hope your legs feel better. My big brother had the same problems. Mommy was the cause. She thought he has to lose weight, so they walked more. The next day, he could barely walk. Mommy felt horrible, so off to the vets. He came back with pain stuff, and Mommy cut back on the walks. He eventually lost weight, but the vet also found out he had hypothyroidism; so, after he started taking soloxine, he really got in shape and Mommy's shorter walks didn't hurt his leggies.

  9. That's POTP means Power of the Patootie, right?? Use yours and you can get rid of the weight. A really good vet would have said you needed to gain 3 pounds.

  23. Ruby, you went to the v-e-t?!? Oh dear doggie...I hope you are feeling better. Maybe Ma just took you on TOO long of a walk and you strained some muscles or something.

And you know...I lost 3 lbs when I switched to the raw food diet(and that's all I really needed to lose to look dashing and dapper again - BOL). I lost the weight without being on a diet, per se...just eating better foods.
