Hey puppers and kittehs, I had to go to the vetties today.
You see, Ma been tryin' to gets me to drop some pounds
So we've been takin' ALOT longer walkies.
Well, Tuesday hours after our walkies I was havin' problems gettin' up. Nothin' serious, just a little slow.
Wells, it didn't gets better, and todays it was worse.
So...off to the vetties!!
This is my "What did you do to me Ma??!" look.....
Anyhu, we gets there and there is a new PAWSOME new receptionist!
I loved hers! And she thoughts I was really 'beautifuls'!!
(she even thought my hyperbutt was funny!!!)
And, there was a new vettie, too!! He was also PAWSOME!!
He didn't even mind when I barked through to door at other doggies!! hehehe
Butts, it looks like there is nothin' serious at this point. He did all the movement thingies (which I wasn't happy abouts I tell ya!!)
and everythings looked okay!
So, he gave me some pain meds and sent my hyperbutts on my way!
He also said I only needed to lose FIVE POUNDS!!
Ma was goin' on abouts 10lbs, and I thoughts she was crazy, butts the vettie said five is good!!
I loves this vettie!!
Here I am at homes after I hads my post-vettie pee......hehehe
Then I had to check on my bees....
Back to sniff for tree rats......
Back to check on my bees.....
After this I crashed in the house.
Don't let these pics fool you....I was still hopped up on adrenaline!!
So, I could use some POTP to get these druggies workin'!
Also, Oskar is havin' some problems with his caboose too!
Stop by and give him some POTP too!
Okays, it's rest and diet foods for me this weekend!
All you doggies, run and jump and do some roachin' for me, okays?!
Hopefully you just pulled some of your powerful muscles with all that walking. Now if you get worse or not better, back you go. Don't know if ticks are bad where you live, but around here, they can make a doggie get fierce owies really fast. Feel better.ReplyDelete
We are sending you our Pawerful POTP to be gettin you all feeling fine as that frog's hair.ReplyDelete
Glad that your new Dogtor has some good sense and said 5 only... Whew... BUTT we think you look FANGTASTIC just the way you are. Just sayin.
Oh Ruby, you and Phantom are both nursing sore legs. We hope your meds kick in quickly. Bet you are taking the same stuff as our brudder. We posted about your wonderful gift to us today. And all of Blogville agrees with us that you are one very sweet girl:)ReplyDelete
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
I hope your sore legs feel better soon! I call momma the "weight Nazi", because she doesn't let me gain even a few ounces!ReplyDelete
you is the third doggie today we have read about with leggie problems - we have so many paws crossed for you all we can't walk !!!!!ReplyDelete
I hope your legs feel better. My big brother had the same problems. Mommy was the cause. She thought he has to lose weight, so they walked more. The next day, he could barely walk. Mommy felt horrible, so off to the vets. He came back with pain stuff, and Mommy cut back on the walks. He eventually lost weight, but the vet also found out he had hypothyroidism; so, after he started taking soloxine, he really got in shape and Mommy's shorter walks didn't hurt his leggies.

Oh, Ruby, sorry you were a bit sore! Hope the meds make you feel better soon! I know you don't want to diet, but you really will feel better when the weight comes off.ReplyDelete
Ruby, my Rubydoo!! You must get better, you are my girly!!! I am crossing paws and Mommy is praying for you. I just know you will be just fine, you just need a little rest. I will send you an immediate and fresh batch of magic bubbles, watch for them over your house. I will see if Mommy will let me come and visit you so we can snuggle together.ReplyDelete
That's POTP means Power of the Patootie, right?? Use yours and you can get rid of the weight. A really good vet would have said you needed to gain 3 pounds.ReplyDelete

And you know...I lost 3 lbs when I switched to the raw food diet(and that's all I really needed to lose to look dashing and dapper again - BOL). I lost the weight without being on a diet, per se...just eating better foods.
