Prissy came home last night and is much better. The mass started dissolving on it's own and when Dr Briles took the second set of X-rays Tuesday morning it had shrunk quitea bit & was totally gone by Wednesday evening. He kept her until last night, off the IVs', to see if she would start vomiting again. Because it was pressing against her liver and pancreas and looks so dark on the X-rays he thought it could be cancer. Thank God it wasn't.
He now thinks all the vomiting was due from "poop" or an infection. She was on IV fluids for 4 days, non stop, and whatever it was got flushed away.
She is on 2 medications, one for vomiting and one antibiotic. If she starts vomiting again, she needs to go back again and have a barium x-ray which he was planning on doing but cancelled when the mass started getting smaller. The last set of X-rays showed nothing.
Thanks so much for the your the prayers.
God bless.......The Mommy, Sarah
