Advice from June: You could "bite the hand" that feeds you (I'm good at biteys), freedom achieved! Then go for the good stuff! Want bitey-directions, call 1-800-JUNEY.
Too bad you were restricted by that walking string, Ruby. Around here we don't have lizards but we do have snakes (don't worry all our snakes aren't poisonous).
I know what you mean, Ruby! That darn walking string keeps me from all kinds of fun with other doggies, and critters I could eat, and things to chase, and wells of smells. A pox on the String!
oh boy you saw a whole menu... imagine what a fab basic for a bbq it could be....
ReplyDeleteThink of it this way Ruby.
ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't for the walking string you wouldn't get the chance to see the lizard and the tree rat tomorrow!
Hope they come back so you can lunge and maybe get loose from that sting...BOL!
ReplyDeleteLeashes can be such a pain! Why did they ever have to be invented?!

How fun and yes that walking string causes so much frustration. I so remember. You're most adorable, Miss Ruby.

ReplyDeleteRuby I will complete your sentence: if it wasn't for this walking string I'd be dining BBQ tree rat and lizard lasagna!!

Ruby, we all know that you are a mighty huntress, but when with your human, you've got to leave the hunt.
ReplyDeleteSyd caught a tree rat last week. She carried it around for a few minutes, then traded it for a milkbone.
ReplyDeleteWow! Too bad you couldn't chase them!
ReplyDeleteBeau said to tell you he saw a rat in our back yard and chased it OFF STRING

ReplyDeleteWe hope you gave that tree rat a run for its money!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was a very pretty walk, Ruby!!! Too bad you couldn't get that squirrel and lizard. We keep trying here too, but no success yet.

Lulu: "What?! The lizards and the tree rats are conspiring now? That can only spell trouble!"
ReplyDeleteThose beasts should consider themselves lucky!
