  3. Your flowers are beautiful, Ruby! Mom has always wanted an orchid but she knows that once the flowers fall off, she will never get it to bloom again.

  4. if I had those flowers, I would snap myself silly and maybe have more than mom took... orchids are beautiful.. I am now wondering where you are and what you mean by mild. here in FL we are having winter and 3 times down to 45 and 46 and we are freezing... I am betting your mild is colder than ours.. ha ha

  8. Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers. Like Lee and Phod our weather is a lot different from yours. The only flowers that are blooming are inside.

  10. Now that we are in a snowstorm, any green life coming from the soil is covered up again. We've had a low level of precipitation so far this Winter, but it's only 1/2 way through January!

  13. Your flowers are beautiful. Mom seemed to get stuck on that first photo until we made her move on. So gorgeous!!!

It is plenty cold here if your Ma wants to come for a visit. We think it is about 12 degrees F. right now.

  15. I had to laugh when you said, well, that's it. That's a lot! I thought only greenhouses and tropical climates still had those flowers blooming now, and so beautiful, too.

  17. Ruby,
Your mom has a green thumb!!
Now we know why you are not allowed to
    chase the squirrels.
Is that a Mandevilla? 3rd photo from top.
My ma loves that plant she wanted one
many years ago and still does!
All your flowers and plants are
    so beautiful.
