Chewy Review!

Hey puppers, kittehs, burdies, and other assorted furiends!

It's that time agains!

Let's see what Chewy sent this month....

Oooooo!  Treaties!  Waits...is that EASY on the bag??!!!

It's Purina Pro Plan Lite Snackers!  Here's the highlights...

Oven Baked

Low Calorie content ( 15 calories a biscuit )

Low Fat

High Fiber

LET'S TASTE these puppies!

*crunch-a, crunch-a, crunch-a*

I had to try another one....I wanted to be sure if I liked them or not...

Okays, here is my verdict.....eeeh.

I KNOW!

Butts, here is why....

These are HARD!  I mean...HARD!  Ma couldn't even break these in half!
(WHY she was trying to do THAT, is pure craziness anyhu!)

They have 15 calories a biscuit.  That seems kinda high for the size of these.
They were only 1 1/2 inches.  In my opinion, there are better tasting treaties that are lower calorie out there.

And here's the clincher.....after the initial two treaties, I didn't want anymore...

I KNOW!

So, unfortunately I'm going to have to give these treaties only

2 paws up.

Butts, if you wants to try them out for yourself

and gets a good deal from our pals at CHEWY!

Disclaimer:   I was given a bag of these treaties to review. All opinions and drools are my own.  No green papers or trips to Fiji were given in exchange for this review.  Though, Ma has had her eye on a cute little Mini Cooper.....☺

  2. We think we might just swallow them whole if they're that hard to chew.

  3. Like Chester and Joey, we tend to swallow hard things whole too. Thanks for the honest review. Hope you get something next month that you like, Ruby!!!

  4. I like the soft squishy treats like the Origin freeze dried duck ones, so thanks for letting us know. We love how Chewy lets the dogs review items and that's why we order all of our foodables from Chewy even though they are sold in stores nearby.

  12. We agree - hard hard cookies are just to much - I know we all have 'jaws of doom' but even our jaws like a little softness sometimes :)

  13. That was a good, honest review. We don't mind hard treats as we are both good chewers but Walter probably would just swallow it whole like he already does with some of our treats.

  14. Dang that is hard and you would think with all the calories it would be soft with oils and fats and stuff. Thank goodness mom didn't break a digit trying to half it and you didn't break a front toooooof 'cause that would have messed up your 'Aire million dollar smile

  16. How very interesting! First, interesting that your mom is JUST like ours and would try to break them in half. Craziness! Craziness, I tell you! Also interesting that you didn't care for them. Cam has discerning taste sometimes, but basically, I'll eat anything. We appreciate your honest review very much!

  17. If it was two and you're through...just sayin'! Mom ALWAYS breaks our treats in half so these might no be for us either. Knowing her she'd get the knife out to cut them in half and well, that never ends good. Bahaha!

  18. They look yummy. Chico has bad teefs so this probably wouldn't be good for him. Thanks for an honest review.

  20. Our Mom is like your, a little on the stingy side. She breaks treats in half, too. Dad, on the other hand gives them out whole. Mom doesn't like the ones that are really hard to break. She even got some cutters out of the tool box one day to cut our treats. She's a bit obsessed.
