OMD OMD your mom's THUMB??? Well now after hearing THIS... we guess we are GLAD that we don't Have any of those...ReplyDelete
Gee Ruby... tell her to just hand your treat boxes and bags over to you... YOU can open them YOURSELF... it is REALLY FUN... and then there won't be any of that.... STUFFS the peeps do... like ONLY HANDING OVER ONE TREAT... you will have the entire package to scarf down!!
Fur SURE put some nice lubricating Slobbers on the offending Thumb... THAT will have her back GOOD AS NEW... ... NOOOOOOOOOO with YOUR slobber she would be BETTER than new.
Cute pic - new toys are always great!ReplyDelete
Can't she tell the doc it's an EMERGENCY because she needs her thumb to do your blog???ReplyDelete
She's training to be a farmer. When her thumb turns green, you'll know that she graduated.ReplyDelete
maybe she stop all the hitch hiking = that thumb signal can be pretty hard on the handReplyDelete
We hope your Mom feels better soon.ReplyDelete
Boo, you look beautiful in your tunnel! The blue really reflects in your beautiful eyes. What's this about your ma saying you stink up the furniture? That is so insulting! Maybe now your ma can understand how hard it is to do things without thumbs! BUTT that is no excuse to not give you your treats! She can use her other hand with scissors and just open the whole package and just put the treats down where you can get them and of course you will just eat them as you need them. Or maybe just line the edge of the counters with treats so you get get them as needed. She is just not thinking this through! BUTT we hope her crappy insurance will pay enough to get a replacement thumb, one that works better. OR our mom can teach her how to type without thumbs. Our mom has thumbs but doesn't use them much. Shecanjusttypeeverythingwithouthtespaceanditwillbefine! I will bark at you tonight but it will be a bit earlier cuz me and Stanley are going running with our pawrents in just a bit and we will be zonked out early tonight. XOXOXOXOXOReplyDelete
Your Loving Man Dog Stud Muffin & Stanley

Mr Bailey, Hazel & mabel
Hope your mum's thumb feels better soon. It's not easy to keep up with blogs when your typist falls ill.ReplyDelete

Parents are always getting hurt one way or another aren't they! I wanted to let you know Maggie has fallen in love with the brown bear blankie yu sent to me. Mom has it on the back of the little couch and Maggie must have it laying on the couch at all times so she can wrap her stinky little body up in it and sleep. The world has gone to hell in a handbasket.ReplyDelete
We just went thru that thumb thing with our Mom. It took over a year and finally surgery to fix it, but now it works pretty well. At least now she can open treat bags and that's really all that matters. Right?ReplyDelete
Hope your Mom's thumb heals quickly and she can get back to the important stuff like waiting on you.
I'm just happy that you're both, for the most part, okay. I was worried. I hope your mom's thumb heals soon. The thumb is the finger my Mom uses for the spacebar. Nothing else. So if my Mom's thumb was broken, mypostswouldlooklikethis. BOL! *ear licks* NoodleReplyDelete
No worries, we understand. We hope Mom's thumb is better soon. Our Mom always says it is amazing how much they need those thumbs. Please give your Mom some snooter smoochies from us.ReplyDelete
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
Awww, I am so sorry for your Mom. ♥ Tell her to let that thumb rest and use her other four fingers to scratch your belly. Playing the guilt card is genius!ReplyDelete
Oh, no! Hope Ma heals quickly! Thumbs are sort of important!ReplyDelete
Poor Mama....try not to be too hard on her Ruby, we hope her thumb is feeling better real soon!ReplyDelete
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Those mommas are always full of excusesReplyDelete
Lily & Edward
Amazing how one little part of the body can ruin the every day ease of doing things. Maybe your ma can learn to be the one handed find and peck speedy typist? Hang in there. Good job on taking advantage of the situation. ;)ReplyDelete
Oh, Ruby, I think your mom should go to your vet . . . and then maybe she can wear the cone of shame. Of course if she has to wear the cone, she'll need a straw for her margarita. :-) Hope her thumb is feeling better very soon!ReplyDelete
Oh Ruby, we are so sorry to hear about your mom and her thumb! We feel her pain with the crappy insurance. Hope she's on the mend superfastReplyDelete
Sending POTP for your mom and hope she is feeling better!! It seems everyone is talking about the crappy insurance these days!ReplyDelete

Poor Ruby's mom!! Get well soon!ReplyDelete
Momo & Pinot xo
We're sorry to hear about your mom's thumb. Hopefully she can at least operate a mouse to visit all your friends. We think it's better she doesn't comment to save her thumb for posting on your blog.ReplyDelete
Such a pretty picture of you hangin' out in the tunnel.ReplyDelete
Sorry to hear that your Mama hurt her thumb. Sounds like she did a bang up job of it too. Hopefully her insurance will be better than she thinks it is and she'll be able to get it back to normal soon with the proper treatment. That's terrible that you have to suffer without the proper treats in the meantime!
Oh no, Ruby. Your poor mom! I hope that she feels better very soon, and the 1st is almost year. Yipee!!!ReplyDelete
That's a fabulous photo of you in your tunnel!
Hope it's not broken! Tell her not to worry, we'll be here when she is on the mend!ReplyDelete
I wish I had a tunnel like you do. It looks like fun to me!ReplyDelete
