Flower and Butte Pillar Friday



Hey Puppers, kittehs, and burdies!

Today I am joinin' our Fashion Forward Furiend

DORY for FLOWER FRIDAY! 

I finally got Ma to gets the pics off her camera

and into the puter

so I could share the

BUTTE PILLAR

and 

FLOWERS

in my yardie!

you remember this BUTTE PILLAR?

I knows our furiend  Princess Leah LOVES her Butte Pillars!!

They are SUPER DUPER FAST!

Ma had a hard time getting a clear pic on her POS camera!

Do you see that FLOWER?
That's a PASSION FLOWER, is their 'host'!

They lay their eggs, and live in and around, the Passion Flower vines!


These are the ones in my yardie!

  1. Those Buttie Pillars (and flowers) are beautiful. We rarely see buttie pillars and HER POS camera can't get them either.

  8. O M D Ruby... that is a gorgeous Buttie Pillar... butt WOW the SPIKES on the cat ER Pill Errrrrrrrrrr... We have never heard of these before... the mommys surely do put their eggs on PRETTY flowers.
    NOW... did your Ma EVER get that ball in the game??? Sheesh... WHERE are her priorities?

  10. Oh Ruby what BEAUTIFUL Buttie Pillars!!!! Did you notice how try flew 'cos Fritillaries seem to glide in flight. We were hoping to go in search of Dark Green Fritillaries near us tomorrow but the weather is so yuck and cold they won't be about *sigh* You are sooooo lucky, aren't they stunning, thank you so much for showing us the photos, I LUFFS, LUFFS, LUFFS them

  16. Wow! We've never seen that kind of butterfly! Thanks for the pictures. The flowers were pretty too. We have lots of milkweed growing in our garden in hopes of attracting monarch butterflies.
