I loves this last one the bestest! Ma was able to catch her as she was taking off! She really does look like the picture behind her!
I'm keepin' my eye on them, it should be any day now!!!

How totally lucky are you to have hummingbirds nesting - right where you can see them too!ReplyDelete
So cool! I've never seen hummingbirds in real life, but they sure do look neat. You can see mama's wings flapping so fast that they're just a blur in the last picture :)ReplyDelete
Wow - your mom is super patient to be able to capture all of those great pictures! Tell her not to get too close though! I had doves nesting in my backyard a couple of years in a row and I guess I was taking too many pictures and so they didn't want to nest in my yard anymore. Baby birds are so cool though - it's very hard to not stare or want to take pics!ReplyDelete
Blueberry says - it's a good thing they are birds and will soon fly the coop once they are grown unlike these pesky hamsters that keep on living here day after day after day!
Ooooo!!! I can't wait either Ruby!! You and your Ma are doing an excellent job with the babies and Miss Hummingbird...do you think she'll let you babysit when they are born?!! ;-)ReplyDelete
O M D THAT is the mostest STUNNING thingy... the hummer mom sitting on the nest built on the Hummingbird spinner. STUNNING we tell you.ReplyDelete
We VERY much appreciate YOU and your MOM fur doing this fur us. We have NEVER had the chance to see hummer Eggs and teeeeeeeeny chicks. THIS is SO EXCITING .
THANK YOU RUBY and Ruby MOM.
Can't wait fur MORE pics.
We came back to say that THIS is better than ANYTHINGY on TV... BUTT you REALLY should send the pics to your Local TV station... We think the audience would love it as much as WE do.ReplyDelete
Ruby, those are pawsome pictures and I can't wait either. That Mama is lucky to have such a good guard watching her babies when she is gone. The last picture of you is so cute!! I just want to snuggle with you.ReplyDelete
You are such a good security guard, Ruby. We think that's why the mother made her next there.ReplyDelete
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Thanks for the update Ruby. I can't wait to see the babies.ReplyDelete
Awwww, I am all tingly for you Ruby!! How exciting!!!!!!! I can't wait for the babies!! :o)ReplyDelete
You're so lucky!ReplyDelete
Is that a bluejay feather in her nest? We would gladly have shared some of our furs - the birds here all use it. We can't wait to see the baby birds. Mo says it is so fun to watch them change from day to day. She used to have canaries that nested and had babies.ReplyDelete
