I loves this last one the bestest!   Ma was able to catch her as she was taking off!  She really does look like the picture behind her!

I'm keepin' my eye on them, it should be any day now!!!
Oh, I'm all tingly with anticipation!

  1. How totally lucky are you to have hummingbirds nesting - right where you can see them too!

  2. So cool! I've never seen hummingbirds in real life, but they sure do look neat. You can see mama's wings flapping so fast that they're just a blur in the last picture :)

  3. Wow - your mom is super patient to be able to capture all of those great pictures! Tell her not to get too close though! I had doves nesting in my backyard a couple of years in a row and I guess I was taking too many pictures and so they didn't want to nest in my yard anymore. Baby birds are so cool though - it's very hard to not stare or want to take pics!

Blueberry says - it's a good thing they are birds and will soon fly the coop once they are grown unlike these pesky hamsters that keep on living here day after day after day!

  11. Is that a bluejay feather in her nest? We would gladly have shared some of our furs - the birds here all use it. We can't wait to see the baby birds. Mo says it is so fun to watch them change from day to day. She used to have canaries that nested and had babies.
