Flower Friday!




Hey puppers, kittehs, and other asst. anipals!

I'm gonna FINALLY show you some of the purty flowers

Ma hasn't managed to kill  growin' in my yardie!

Nows, I don't knows the names one of them,
 butts Ma is lookin' for it...

Hibiscus

Digitalis, or Foxglove
pees: keep this one away from peeps and doggies!
Ma has it in her plant 'jail' ☺

Ma thinks this is a Lily.....


Wells, those are the flowers that still live in my yardie!


I hope we can all see the BEAUTY in everyone, like these flowers.

  2. that foxgloves are very common in our area, but we have them wild variation... nevertheless they have enough poison inside for a "sicilian divorce"...

  8. Alas, our flowers are gone. March and April is the high point. Even the cactus won't bloom until next year.

  10. Oh oh, Ruby, now you have our Mom stomping around the house talking to herself. She LOVES bougainvillea and has tried so many times to grow it. The plants grow but they don't flower and what good is a flowering plant with no flowers? She saw them all over the islands when she visited Tobago and Trinidad and she came home determined to surround herself with it, No go!! Guess we'll have to send her to visit you and get her fix.
