To All My Pals in the Cold...

Gpa bought this monstrosity

on Clearance last year...

Ma thought she would take it for a spin...

WooooWeee!!

This puppy is pawsome!

Butts...

We've had record highs this week, so I'm willing to share it with all of you in the

Polar Vortex

(Oh, sorry, I guess that term is 'out' now....)

Don't worry, the flame is incased in a glass tube, so it can't set thingies on fire! BOL

Oh, and I'm still shaking my head cause sometimes my ear annoys me!

Butts, it's not any bigger, so YEA!!!

All is well with my ear, and on the advice of our Pal Finley, and all Ma's research,

No Surgicals!

Ma is just gonna let it be all puffy and furry (she didn't trim my ears after she found the hematoma, so I gots fluffy ears! BOL...wells, you remember what happened when she mangled my ear that one time, right?! )

Anyhu,

I've been REALLY hungry on the Prednisone,

so if anyone has any extra foodables.....☺

  6. First, Kyla was on prednisone for most of her life so foodables was her passion.

Maybe we can borrow that next July, when it gets cold here.

  14. I would happily trade some kibbles for some of that warmth Ruby. I sooooo want it to be Spring so I can get out for some picnics (although a bit of snow to play in would be nice as well!)

  20. Our good friend Braydie had a puffy ear like that. After several vet visits and tons of money, her humans decided to leave it alone. Nothing happened. It just stayed a little puffy and Braydie didn't mind it one bit. Sometimes the vets overdo things.

We are freezing cold here! We doggies don't mind it, but our ghostwriter hates it! It makes her fingers hurt.

  24. That prednisone really does increase one's appetite....to the point of being crazy! It does a good job with the healing but those side effects can be rough!

  34. Glad you don't need surgery. Our big brother Monty had one of those on hos ear and he did have to have it fixed. He said it didn't bother him anymore after that. That poor boy had lots of ear troubles.

We could sure use that big fire thingy here. It's way too cold and we can't stay outside except to pee. Then we race back to the house. Mom says she needs some peace and quiet and is watching for warm weather.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I could have really used that fire tower thingie after my heater quit working! Fortunately, it's fixed now.

I'm so sorry you have a hematoma. Sooooo glad you won't need surgery for it though! My mom's beagle had one on his stomach and had to have it removed. You can barely see the scar now.

Hopefully the prednisone will even out for you soon and you won't be so hungry.
