My Favorite Park

This is my favorite park.  See how awesomly big it is?

It has lots, and lots of trees......I know evil squirrels are waiting in them to try and pounce on me....

But, I make ma walk really fast, so they never have a chance!

Our park sits on a very important spot.  It's hard to read from this shot (geez, ma, find the telephoto setting on the camera, will ya?!)  It says, "Lt. Col. Juan Bautista De Anza and party crossed this area in March 1776, in route to select sites for the Presidio and the Mission of San Francisco."  Okay, maybe it isn't that impressive, now that I think about it, but it sounds impressive.  I guess they stopped here for a cheeseburger and fries?

It's hard to see in this pic, but can you see the top sign on the post?  It has a doggie with a line through it!!!!  What?!  No doggie's allowed?!  Not fair!  Although, the nice grounds keepers do let us doggie people walk in the park as long as the bi-peds pick up after us.  Okay, not so bad, I guess.

Still, gotta keep vigilant.....can't let those squirrels sneak up on ya!
They can come from any direction.....

Don't worry fellow pups, Ruby is on the job! BOL
